The governing law is the law of the Republic of Estonia and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Estonia.

This website and our software are provided “as is” without any guarantees of any kind with the exception that we guarantee we have not knowingly added any malware or other such hidden malicious functionality to our software.

Our software is not designed to be used in any kind of critical systems or environments, where errors or incorrect operation could cause harm to people or animals, or could cause financial losses. Do not use our software in such environments.

If you do not agree or accept these terms, please do not use this website or our software.

Payment Processor

We use Polar as the payment processor and merchant of record for all purchases. We do not get any access to customer credit card numbers or other such payment details.

Number of Computers

Each license gives you the right to activate and use the software on up to five personal computers.

Transfer of License

When you buy a license to use our software, the license is really yours. In other words, if you later buy a new computer, you can transfer your existing license to the new computer and continue using the software there without the need to buy a new license or to pay any kind of transfer fee.

You also have the right to transfer your license to someone else. If you want to do this, simply contact us and let us know. We will help you to transfer your license to the new owner. Transferring a license does not cost anything.

Lifetime Licenses

All the licenses we are currently selling are lifetime licenses. A lifetime license is a one-time payment that you pay for the right to use our software, and this license remains valid forever. This also means that all future product updates and upgrades will be included for you to use for free.

We have sold subscription licenses in the past, but we no longer do that. Because everyone hates software subscriptions, including us. All the old subscription licenses have been automatically cancelled and will not renew.

We have been selling lifetime licenses for jv16 PowerTools since 2011. Every single lifetime license is still being honored.

If you have a lifetime license, or you think you could have, just contact us and we can check it for you and help you to activate your license.

Do notice that a lifetime license does not guarantee a lifetime of updates. We reserve the right to choose if and when we release updates or upgrades to our software.

AI Policy

We do not use any user data or user-provided content to train any AI models or AI systems, nor do we share such data with any third parties for AI model or AI system training purposes.
