Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, jv16 PowerTools is very safe to use. We have dedicated staff testing the software every day on different computers to ensure the highest possible safety and accuracy.

Of course, it is recommended to always do a backup before any changes are applied to your Registry or File System. This is done automatically by jv16 PowerTools. Both, using its own backup feature and by creating a System Restore Point.

jv16 PowerTools is one of the most popular Windows utility software suites. It has a history tracing back to the late 1990′s and 46 million+ downloads.

We have also carried out a user survey and over 87% of jv16 PowerTools users rated it excellent, giving it a full 5 points rating!

So, it’s fair to say, it is very safe to use.

jv16 PowerTools can be used on Windows Vista, 7, 8 and Windows 10.

The program also runs in Windows Servers but we are not officially supporting them at this time.

jv16 PowerTools can be installed on any number of computers, but it can only be activated on a maximum of five computers at a time.

Licenses can be transferred, meaning that the user can remove a license from one computer and activate on another, for example, the user buys a new computer, he/she can remove a license from the old computer and activates it on the new one.

There is nothing to worry! Simply download the free trial version of jv16 PowerTools and open up its My Account page. You can do this even if you already have used the free trial days.

Enter your name and email address to the My Account page inside jv16 PowerTools and it will let you know of all license(s) you currently own. And if any currently valid license is found, it will automatically activate the full version of the program as well.

Do notice that you need to use the same name and email address you used when you bought your license. If you are not sure which one you used, you can try with multiple.

If this fails, you can also contact our technical support. If you do so, please remember to list all possible names and email addresses you may have used.

If you are looking for a copy of your Invoice / Payment Confirmation, please submit a request.

Please download the free trial version of jv16 PowerTools and open up its My Account page. You can do this even if you already have used the free trial days.

Enter your name and email address to the My Account page inside jv16 PowerTools and it will let you know of all license(s) you currently own. If any currently valid license is found, it will automatically activate the full version of the program as well.

If all that fails, just open a support ticket with the title “What license do I own?” and we will get back to you in no longer than 24 hours with a response.
