A greatly improved version of jv16 PowerTools 2005 will be released on next Friday (the 8th of July).
The new version contains two new tools: the Software Manager and the File Organizer. Other major improvements include the Age System which allow you to see what items were added since you last used the tool, and the Comment System which allows you to write comments on specific items.
The Age and Comment systems are currently available with the Software Manager and the Registry Manager.
A full list of changes can be found from here.
While the new version does contain quite a few new features and even brand new tools, the main focus of the release is to increase the stability and overall quality of the product.
The updated version is, of course, free for the license owners of jv16 PowerTools 2005. License owners of jv16 PowerTools 1.4.1 can upgrade to the new version with a discounted price of $5.95.
