An updated version of jv16 PowerTools 2008 released. The updated version contains the following changes.
- Fixed a bug from the Registry Finder which caused it not to properly find hits from REG_MULTI_SZ data type entries.
- Added a safety feature to the File Cleaner and File Finder which makes it more difficult to delete important system files with it, if user attempts to do so the program shows an additional confirmation message.
- Added a safety feature to the Registry Cleaner and Registry Finder which prompts user for additional confirmation if user attempts to delete an important registry key.
The new version’s version number is 1.8.0.455. After downloading and installing the new version, please open the Help > About window to verify you are running the latest version. Some browsers tend to cache the installation file and therefore you might not receive the latest version but the same old version you have previously downloaded.
You can install the new version over any previous versions of jv16 PowerTools 2008.
