At the end of 2013, we published a crowd speaking campaign, requesting our current users, customers and open source software enthusiasts from all around the world to support our intent to release jv16 PowerTools as free, open source software. To show your support, all you need to do now is to spread the word in social media.
So far, the campaign has been a screaming success, with a social media reach of over 340 000 and with the “Featured” status by Thunderclap.it editors. The campaign has also been fully backed by over 220% of the initially expressed target audience objective. This means we will be publishing, at the end of January, the crowd funding campaign that is hopefully going to make this vision a reality.
With 10 days to go until the time at which the crowd funding campaign will be published, we are currently ready to speak, with the help of the crowd, in front of approximately 340.000 social media contacts. “Support Macecraft Software by spreading the word about its initiative to release jv16 PowerTools 2014 as Open Source” is the message that will be delivered on the 23rd of January 2014 by everyone that has agreed to support us in the form of either a Facebook or Twitter status update.
