I would like to review the individual entries of a registry cleaning session after the cleaning.

Rather than restoring the whole batch of entries that were removed, I would like to restore individual entries one at a time if desired to see what hung up my system that should not have been removed.

Normally I would trust the software to make the right and safe decisions but occasionally it removes something that I need. If I can't narrow down and experiment with the individual items that were removed, then I'm likely to just abandon the software.

Of course, I could restore the whole batch and then untick the one suspect removed and then reclean the registry. But that's too tedious.

I think that capability already exists in jvpt16 2005 (and 2006 beta tests).

Have a look:

Bring up the backup tool

Right click on the line for the backup you want to see

From the context menu, select "Custom restore/Edit backup ..."

Looks to me like the window that appears is exactly what you described.

Thank you for showing me where that feature was.
