I've been using RegSupreme for a while and like it, but lately have noticed it doesn't remove all entries, they keep coming back.

I've read that this may be because you don't update RegSupreme and RegSupreme Pro like you do jv powertools which you say has the same registry cleaner.

So, therefore, to get the lastes registry cleaner, I have to purchase jv powertools?

I'm not trying to be rude here, but if you can update the registry cleaner in jvpowertools regularly, you could do it in the other two products, since they have the same registry cleaner.

Well, I don't think this has anything to do with the fact that jv16 PT contains the latest version of the registry cleaner engine at the moment.

And jv16 PT is our main product, that's why we update it more often and it gets our most attention. But the RegSupreme's will be updated after the release of jv16 PT 2006 in next year, the updates will be free for the license owners and the updated versions will most likely contain also new features.

Well, thanks. The registry files that keep coming back are "invalid windows help files". Everytime I run a scan, they are always there and never totally removed.

I am merely enquiring if there will soon be an update made available to RegSupreme (presently at version 1.3.0.35), including the new registry scanning and cleaning engine improvements?

RegSupreme is a useful and reliable product. It has been put to much good use.

I think you have to stay patient for some moments, as, for the moment, Jouni is still busy to fix some problems in the new improved PowerTools 2006.

The updated version of RegSupreme should be out in this week, update for RegSupreme Pro will follow shortly.

These updates only contain the new registry cleaning engine of the PT 2006. There is a very long list of handy features that could be easily added to the products, but I don't wish to kill the backwards compatibility of the old translation files, at least not yet.

And jv16, if any of that "very long list of handy features that could be easily added to the products" do eventually come to the light of day in RegSupreme and Pro - I for one will gladly and gratefully accept them. :-)

Thank you for your reply,After reading some of the posting on the forum it looks to me that Macecraft don't show alot of interest in Regsupreme are there plans to discontinue the product.

We don't have any plans to stop updateing the RegSupremes. As for the update policy of our products, please see:

jv16 PowerTools has always been and will always be our flaghip product, and therefore the most often updated product.

8) I have been using the rc 2 release of RegSupreme. Every thing seems to work well. No problems. I did have to unstall rc1 to get it to work though. going to downloas rc3 now. will post more.
