While I have little interest in being able to uninstall multiple programs concurrently/simultaneously, I AM concerned about Uninstalr's long startup time. I am also annoyed that Uninstalr creates a System Restore Point without giving me the option to bypass this operation. So, please consider adding two additional checkbox options: (1) option to skip/bypass System Restore Point creation, and (2) option to use Windows uninstaller's faster generated list of uninstallable programs.

How long does Uninstalr take to produce the list of installed software in your computer? It should read on the top description text.

I agree that the scan of installed software should not take this long. Improving it has been my top priority for the next released version. The problem is that there is no single cause for the slowness, but it's a sum of many different small operations, and this means that the scan time can vary greatly between different systems.

412 installed software occupying 22 GB of space.
583 files, 509 folders, 6622 registry keys, 4019 registry entries related.
    Analysis took 266 seconds.

This computer is an old (2015) Dell Inspiron running Windows 10 and does not support TPM 2.0, so not elegible for Windows 11.

Immediately re-running Uninstalr after running it previously with nothing being uninstalled or installed produced different statistics:
415 installed software occupying 27 GB of space -- 3 more than just before -- where did they come from?
986 files, 528 folders, 45264 registry keys, 14798 registry entries -- why weren't these additional files, folders and registry entries found in the immediately preceeding run of Uninstalr?
This time, analysis took 231 seconds -- 35 seconds faster than previous run -- might be that some of the data searched was still cached in memory from the previous run.

After uninstalling just one program and then re-launching Uninstalr, it reported the following statistics:
414 programs found occupying 24 GB.
985 files, 528 folders 45262 registry keys, 14805 registry entries.
    Analysis took 198 seconds.

In all these tests, Uninstalr was the only program being launched.

ADDITIONAL REQUEST: The checkbox option to kill presently running programs seems to be kill ALL running programs, or kill nothing. It might be helpful to have an option to kill ONLY the running programs being selected for uninstall.

Any software that you choose to uninstall will always be killed if they are running, that is why there is no such option.

The next version of Uninstalr will be considerably faster on most systems. Would you like to try its preview version to see how fast it does the scan?
