I'm sorry to hear something unwanted happened when you used Uninstaler.
That being said, I would advice you to follow the instructions the program offers. For example, it lists every single path it would remove should you want to proceed with the uninstallation. Did you review the list of paths before uninstalling something? If you are reporting that Uninstalr wanted to remove paths that you consider to be incorrect, please list those paths (and to what apps they are referring to), and I will study the situation and fix if there are indeed any incorrect analysis happening.
Uninstalr does not remove anything without explicit permission from the user.
Also, if you don't wish the program to analyze some paths such as non-local drives, you can list those paths in the Settings.
This program is an advanced tool for people who want one. It's not a toy. If you are not careful, you can hurt yourself. It's like a hammer. If you know what you are doing, you can use it to build beautiful things. But if you are not careful, you can hit your finger with it. But it's not the hammer's fault.
