Just rediscovered JV16 (I noticed I have old v1.5.2.350 from XP days in my software archive). Lot of tools on my "wish I could do that list" so I intend to download/test/buy.
But I noticed a lot of its internal tools appears to also now have standalone freeware versions. Was wondering how tool updates are handled, which tools will be latest versions, and how version conflict is avoided. If JV16 installed, do we even bother with standalone? Will the standalone always be latest version and must to both? Could installing bot conflict with each other in future updates? Will JV16 always get update with internal tool update at exact same time as a standalone tool updated? Etc. etc. etc.
On a related side note, I see WinFindr has a paid for Pro version I may want to get. Is the JV16 equivalent Finder internal tool exact same as the Free or Pro WinFindr? Will I need to pay for both JV16 and WinFindr Pro?
