JV16 PowerTools (5.0.0.312) for $ 35,00 ??? (this is the price for the old program, 1 computer, 1 year), what do we have here?
The designated logo of the program seems to be stolen from "Opel Automobile GmbH", it is just mirrored.
A kind of modern UI instead of the old, used for years and looking like coming out of the play box, of some young child.
The new one looks a little sparse and could be a bit smaller, since it is displaying only 3 program options:
-Internet Optimizer
-System Cleaner
-Software Uninstaller
Operations:
Program needs too much time to start and the UI does not just open, but it "flickers" open (not a sign of quality).
All 3 options just take too much time to do their job.
Internet Optimizer:
In my eyes a total useles option. It makes you change your DNS settings because of a "speed test" which is only valid for that second where it was completed. If you test it a few seconds later your new setting might be the worst of them all. In this case you better had left it like it was: in most cases "automatic". The option is anyway testing the "IPv4" settings only and not touching "IPv6".
System Cleaner:
A simple program which does what it is called, it cleans Windows from all kind of junk, the scanned items are displayed in a very detailed manner. The world is full of cleaners for no money at all.
Software Uninstaller:
Not really needed since modern software have pretty good uninstallers which do not leave much crap behind. I really do not care about a "Leftover" i.e. an empty folder of an old uninstalled program.
Conclusion:
If you want to spend that money just go ahead, for all the other cleaner freaks there is a "CCleaner" doing all the tasks lighter, faster, reliable... for free!
