If you get two emails, you are probably subscribed to the mailing list with two email addresses. If you wish to unsubscribe, have you tried to click the unsubscribe link included in each email?

I think you checked the subscribe button upon registering.

If you receive more than one email, that means you probably are subscribed to the mailing list with more than one of your email addresses.
