I upgraded yesterday:

Operating system: Windows 10, 64bit. I have used my computer daily for the usual things including Graphic art and design.

The first-time setup hung and I had to restart the program, it then proceded ok but slowly.

Startup optimiser seems to have increased my bootup time by 3 times initially, it has subsequently reduced to double, hopefully it will return to my computers' normal soon. I have not added any new startup items since installing apart from the items your update has added.

It reports Adobe Acrobat as being vulnerable and an old version (actually it is the latest version), Also Acrobat reader refused to run (It had been fine prior to your update). I had to download, uninstall and re-install Acrobat for it to work. Your program is still reporting it as out of date.

I use Calibrize to calibrate my monitors and to load a custom profile on bootup. This is important for me to ensure that the colours used in my artwork are consistent. It failed to load the custom profile (reporting it as missing) after using your program, and I had to run Calibrize to create another profile. After using your program again the custom profile failed to load again (again reported as missing). I have added calibrize to the Global ignore list - but have little confidence of this working.

I will continue to use your program for a while longer, but my confidence in it is not high at the moment I am sorry to say.

Sorry to hear about the issues. As you noticed probably noticed, jv16 PowerTools creates a system restore point before it is installed, if you feel like it, you can simply use Windows system restore to restore you computer to the state it was before the software was installed.

Can you tell me what exactly did you do with the software? If possible, please create a zip file containing the contents of your jv16 PowerTools \Backups folder, upload it to e.g. WeTransfer.com and send me the download link. This would allow us to analyze exactly what was done with the software and what was going on under the hood, so to speak.
