Looking at the high number of views of this tread (but lack of commenting), it is clear that there have been some misconceptions caused by the topic's name "VIP licence not valid" after jv16 PowerTools 2017 was released.
Allow me to remind you that VIP Technical Support offers, as it says, priority Technical Support and not a Lifetime License.
The VIP license offers priority in solving technical issues that you open with us using the ticketing system in our Help Center.
The Pay Once, Use Forever (also known as the old "Platinum VIP") license offers the lifetime product regardless of which version you register.
This means that if you at some time in the past had a VIP Technical Support add-on as a service to one of your old jv16 PowerTools (but expired) licenses, you will need to maybe purchase a new, valid license to use the product. When doing so, you can also add "VIP Technical Support" to the same order, if you wish to have the same conditions as before.
