I am unable to highlight any lines or selections. I have it checked in the settings but nothing gets highlighted. Any thoughts?

I am running Windows 10 64 bit on a home built machine. ASUS hero MB, 16 gigs of ram

Nvidia GTX 970 and a Samsung SSD

Overclocked 12% at this point.
