I just downloaded jv16 PowerTools X.
When I do a Registry Find & replace:
Search: S-1-5-21-3861946781-156839479-1793844778-1107
Replace: S-1-5-21-2883810762-123055516-2357884999-1121
Replace Method: Only Matching Data
The search finds 1253 items. I select all 1253 items & click on Replace.
The "Done" message is displayed, but nothing is changed in the registry.
Regedit finds the old data and Registry Finder still finds 1253 occurrences of the Search string.
Is this because it is a trial version or PowerTools, or does Find & Replace just not work?
