The licensing issues that prevent some of our users from activating the product on the new licensing model (subscription based) have been detailed in the newsletter sent earlier this week.
As a matter of fact, we have already fixed those issues and you should now be able to activate the product. To confirm that the product is activated, please visit the About screen or check the status in the bottom right hand corner of the Home panel. For the moment, the license status under My Account may still be reporting Trial License, however, the About screen and Home screen will provide you with the correct information. We will get the My Account fixed and delivered alongside few other fixes next week.
In what concerns the slow starting speed of the product, since version 4.0.0.1524, we have implemented a new anti-piracy system that seems to take a lot more resources to unpack / load at first time use. We are also working to optimize this mechanism. The slow start speed of the product is in no way permanent or something that we agree with either and hopefully a solution will be found soon in our lab.
