If you are running the latest version of PowerTools and it fails to open due to "Data.xbin corrupted" error, please download and install the program again from our website. No need to uninstall it, simply re-install the program and that will fix the problem.
The problem is caused by a minor bug in the Automatic Update feature: what can happen that the Automatic Update feature updates your PowerTools but failed to update the data.xbin file. This leads to the program being the latest version but data.xbin being an older version and that is what causes the error message. Simply re-installing the program (no need to uninstall) ensures both files are latest versions and the issue is resolved.
This issue in the Automatic Updates feature will be fixed in the next released version of the program. Just wanted to let you know about this as some users have asked about this 8)
