I have tried a number of programs that purport to "clean" etc. my PC. So far, all of them have caused damage, particularly to the registry. The ones that show you what problems they found often show you problems that--if you are a Windows techie--you can tell that either it is not a problem, or it is a problem and you know how to manually edit the registry or whatever to fix it, but the program doesn't know how and so it creates a disaster in the registry. For example, it is common with these programs to say they can't find a file and so they want to delete something or mess up the registry--but I can find the file and fix the registry myself correctly. If you are not a Windows techie, you let the program do its thing and maybe it won't cause any damage, this time on this problem.
I will buy this program and use the "fix" features on a sandbox PC--assuming that the program shows me exactly what it doesn't like and what it proposes to do about it--and assess how safe it appears to be. I can't know all the flaws it might have, if any, but past experience has given me lots of experience testing "fix" PC programs.
Even if I don't trust the "fix" features, this product has some other appealing features.
