Unable to download license

Paid for version X and received the email to download licence with a link to click:

My registered user and email gets rejected and I am stuck in a loop I just cannot get out.

Can somebody send me my license file directly please.

To register the software, install the free trial version of PowerTools X, its My Account feature and write there your name and email address. If your name contains any characters other than letters from A to Z, try to write your name without the special characters.

You dont seem to understand the problem.

Yes - I know that’s the way its supposed to work - however in the installed trail version my registered name and email (entered when I paid for it) gets rejected and I am told " please enter your valid name!.

So the alternative is to download a license file like I used to in the past but I am effectively getting the same response there ..................... also the email I received from Macecraft after paying that tells me "click here to download you personal license" doesn’t work for I suspect the same reason:

My name and email used during payment is not on the database.

I can send you my Paypal transaction where I paid and also the emails received from Macecraft/Mihai telling me all about the successful payment and where I was supplied with download link that simply don’t work.

I suspect further that the same problem was also responsible for me paying more than the standard upgrade price ($8.99 iso $5.95 for which I would actually like a refund)- the system simply couldn’t locate me on the database despite me faithfully buying new versions every time it came out in the past.

I think the problem is with your name, you had only used "LvR" as your name. Our system doesn't might not properly find you if you don't use your full name when making the order.

I have now updated your details to our system, please try the My Account feature again, this time with your full name "L van ..." (I don't wish to write your full name here, so no one else cannot try to activate their PowerTools with your name).

Thanks for quick response

While your suggestion now gets me further, I am still greeted with a new problem

When using the "apply my license" tool in the program (after I changed the name to your suggested L van R....) I get moaned at that "an error occurred while trying to apply your license. Please contact Macecraft for technical support".

So - as an alternative I again tried downloading the license file using the link supplied in the confirmation email received from you, and while that now also gets me further, I am told the license is not yet ready for download ...........................

If the name thing is an issue I would suggest you guys change the system so that a check for acceptable conditions can be performed.

License accepted and updates applied so I am happy again
