Go to Settings and change to use the More windows option. After the required PowerTools X restart, you can have two PowerTools X items on the task bar, neither of which brings up a window when clicked.
Using right click on one of the items and selecting jv16 PowerTools X does bring up a main window, but now there are THREE PowerTools X items on the task bar. The first two still do nothing when left clicked.
This is with Windows 7 and jv16 PowerTools X (4.0.0.1485).
