One thing is that the latest PowerTools X contains a license reporting feature that notifies our server of any failed license use attempts. When the server receives it, it automatically creates a new license for you. So if we are lucky, the problem gets fixed automagically by our servers re-generating new licenses for you. As long you have your name and email address in the My Account tool of PowerTools, there is nothing else you need to do.
I can see that there is quite a queue for licenses to be re-generated because of this issue, so there can be a little delay for this to happen.
However, it also sounds like there is a bug in the license check system. I will report back shortly after I know more.
