User Account Control warns jv16 from an Unknown Publisher

Why is Windows 8.1 User Account Control warning me that jv16 PowerTools X (v4.0.0.1480) is from an Unknown Publisher? This warning is most typically found in malware. What can I do to correct this?

That is because the certificate used to digitally sign the executable expired earlier this month, we will release an updated build, signed with a renewed certificate shortly.

Unfortunately I don't think there is anything you can do about it, except wait for a the new build to be released.

FYI: We finally received the new certificate, we ordered (and paid) the new certificate on the 17th of April and received it today. And someone says Macecraft's license delivery times are slow :

Anyway, since we now have the new certificate, the new build will be released ASAP (read: later today or tomorrow).
