Reset Statistics, NOT in "Settings"!

Hello all,

I have been unable to find any information on the issue and if my search of the board has been inadequate, I apologize in advance but, taking the JV16

Powertools X (Version 4.0.0.1480) for a test drive and have noticed:

1- Main window: Maintenance > Reset Statistics; the description in part states "You can disable the statistics features from the Settings." however, I have not been able to locate this option under Tools>Settings. Is there another "Settings" option somewhere that bears "Statistics" features and options?

2- In the handbook, I have absolutely not been able to find ANY reference to "Statistics" or "Reset Statistics". Is there a reason for omitting information on this specific feature?

Just curious what this feature is. It is just great one can reset it in "maintenance" section but, what it is, why there is no information on it in the handbook, and why is it not under "Settings" is the question.

In the previous jv16 PowerTools 2014 it was a panel at the bottom of te Main Window like this:

In jv16 PowerTools 2014 you could find it under:

Settings > Advanced Interface > Main Window like this:

I'm not sure, but I think it isn't possible anymore to enable the feature in the new PowerTools X.

The developer jv16 himself could confirm this or not.

@redseujac, thanks for the information.

If the statistics are collected and in "Maintenance" they could be deleted/cleared, where are they actually kept in Powrtool X? And where are they displayed when initiating the Powrtool X? I see no indication of the usage and what has been done, with the exception of information provided in "Action History." And, absence of a section on "Statistics" in the handbook, still remains a mystery.

I really don't know. Maybe "Reset statistics" is an obsolete option in "Maintenance" if ever the statistics panel has been dropped in PowerTools X.

Only the developer jv16 could tell us how the matter stands :

This is indeed a bug in the program, the option should not be there. This will be fixed shortly.
