I believe this issue should now be at least mostly fixed. It has been difficult to fix, as I have not been able to reproduce the issue in any test environment.
I created a test build which you can try. It both demonstrates the fixes (and you can confirm whether the issue has been fully or partially fixed) and it generates a debug log file, which if you send to me, I can use to further improve and/or fix the Software Uninstaller.
Note: Due to the debug mode, the program's executable is bigger than normal and it can be extremely slow. So, start the Software Uninstaller and go get yourself a cup of coffee or tea, as it can take a long time to run. For example, in one test environment, it took 10 minutes to generate the software list.

After you run it, please send here all the .txt and .log files generated to the program's installation directory (by default: C:\program files (x86)\jv16 PowerTools X\). If you can, you can zip the files.
