When I use the Wipe Files tool from the File Tools menu (JV16 2014), it works fine. If I go to Settings and the section on Windows Integration and set the check box by Wipe Files it creates a shortcut that directly opens the Wipe Files Tool. However when files are moved into the window and Wipe is selected, the window is cleared but the files are not erased. On the JV16 bug report for 2012 it said this behavior was fixed for shortcuts but apparently not.
I have been using JV16 for many years and have always been happy, and even participated in the drive for Open Source (boy do I feel stupid now!) so I am very disturbed by all the bad reviews I have been reading. I submitted a support ticket for this problem and have not heard anything other than the automated response when submitted. Has anyone been able to make this work using the shortcut? Is there any hope for JV16 support?
