In the old Regcleaner, it had the ability to remove all the devices from the Device Manager.
I guess this feature was not used much or was not as useful since XP.
Even though modern Windows is limited in the amount of core hardware changes, I still think this feature is useful.
I have often wanted to reset the driver list on a problem PC when having issues with motherboards, or a motherboard upgrade, and mostly with drivers that will not disable or be removed.
I've done it manually a few times in safemode, but it is taking longer to do as the modern PCs add more system hardware. Some rely on each other so can only be removed in a certain order, but even then most systems refuse to let me remove it all.
Any thoughts on this, or maybe even a standalone tool ?
