Because of a fault I had to clean and reinstall everything.

Go to 'Main menu' -> 'Help' -> 'License tool' -> 'Download my license'

I did as you suggested and got the following answer.


(14- Error): An error occurred while trying to apply your license. Please contact Macecraft Software for technical support.


I bought the license in April 2013 - so it should still be valid.... shouldn't it ?

Yes the license is valid, but for the jv16PT2013 version.

That was the latest official version released at that time.


Beta testing jv16PT2014 started in August 22th 2013.

Only licenses bought in/after September 2013 are valid for jv16PT2013 and allow for a jv16PT2014 license.


However the 'download my license' should deliver a new copy of your jv16PT2013 license.

Unfortunately right now there are technical problems with sending license links and license emails.

Sadly the saga continues!


I decided to buy the upgrade this morning.

After completing the transaction the message said I would receive my upgrade licence in approximately 5 minutes.


It is now approximately 5 HOURS later and I still haven't received my licence!!


If this is unusual could someone help please.

I forgot to mention that I tried to "submit a ticket"


Unfortunately this is the message I received.

We do receive all the tickets sent to us, despite the error message. We are still working on resolving what causes the error message, but have not yet been successful. Our order base does show that the licenses are sent from our server. I am answering all the tickets that come in, and will put the download link to the license to the ticket. You might not receive the normal email copy of the answer because of the error message, but you can check the answer by logging in to the ticket system.

They did not reply to my license request made over a week ago!!

15th November - I received my licence - with an apology that their server wasn't working correctly.


So now I am a "happy bunny" that everything is working correctly :)
