I am having the exact same problems. After paying for the GOLD VIP I did not get any acknowledgement, no email no license even tried macecraft contact us send message got the same "timed out" error message on THREE different computers using different internet connections, even tried all browsers I have (THREE) same error message. What is going on? been using JV16 for 6 years, it was great.

Yes it is true I have had all of the same problems numerous attempts on THREE computers using 3 different browsers over 5 days yielded the same error message -- timed out, also got the empty email "resending license nothing after 5 days. I paid for the Platinum VIP - this is bad. I've been using JV16 for 6 years never had this problem - hey there up in Finland will you please answer - or are you all too busy freezing.

Yesterday I purchased an upgrade from JV16 PT 2012 to JV16 PT 2014. Who would have thought we would be in this situation. They were so good in the past.

As I see it those who did not get a license have two choices - wait (and hope), or dispute your payment through your credit card company or PayPal. I chose option 2 because "shouting into a vacuum" gets no results.


As an update to my PayPal claim, PayPal gives Macecraft 10 days to reply to my claim. If nothing, my payment is refunded. If they do respond, I will still ask for a refund. If I have to apply this much pressure to get a license that was supposed to be sent within 5 minutes (according to my purchase email) - going on 10 days now - I do not want the product.

Just a quick word from us: We do receive every and all messages that are sent to us, and some in multiple times. I am answering to them all. We are working on the error message that has been reported, but have not yet been able to fix it. I apologize for the inconvenience. I have been very busy on answering all the tickets that we have received and resending the license and the download link. Our system shows that the licenses are sent out normally from our site. We are working on finding out why the licenses are not delivered to you.


If you wish to have a refund, just send us a ticket and I will cancel and refund the order. So just to verify, we do receive all the tickets sent to us, despite the error message.


I recommend you to log in and check the answer to your ticket if you have sent one, as the reply is apparently not sent to your email.

To Veera. Well you may say that you reply to our messages but I NEVER got any such reply, never got an email that had my license - they were ALL empty ALL of them - listen to us your old time customers, we are your beard and butter also I request you cancel the first order but not the second one OK. Thanks. Please Please fix this - I managed to get it done by going to Help the download my license but I hope it will be stable. You are really disappointing us Veera, You need to show that you really fixed this almost disaster. OK

Veera - well perhaps you honestly think you are sending us a license or that you are responding but please be assured that this is not so, at least not for those of us who took time to sign up here, all we get are empty emails with NOTHING in the body, zip, nada. OK and how are we to know that you actually ever received our tickets if

A: we keep getting that error message

and.

B: we get no reply via email,

speaking of which when I sent you and others an email I never got a copy to me even though I had the box checked and got no reply.

Your product is so very fine - I am baffled by this poor turn of events.

I purchased jv16powertools 2014 upgrade on November 9th 2013, still have not received new license bin file and the license download tool does not work. The email contact for Macecraft is not working.

Not to kick someone when they are down but to make a point of reference, I have yet to receive any reply to the email I sent to info@macecraft.com on 11/02/2013 concerning no license. And without any means of contacting tech support (either by the Macecraft website links, or via this forum's topics), I opted to request a refund via the PayPal dispute/claim process. PayPal sent emails to Macecraft using the address previously noted, which have yet to be responded to (just checked).


I'm sure you must be quite busy but if you would just reply to my PayPal request for a refund, you'll have one less upset customer who may just come back another day.

As a follow-up to my last post. I purchased a jv16 pt 2014 license via PayPal on Saturday (Nov. 9). When it had not arrived on Sunday (Nov. 10), I made several attempts to contact Macecraft, all of which appeared to have failed from my perspective. Not hearing anything on Monday (Nov. 11), I filed a dispute with PayPal. I then received an empty email from Macecraft today (Nov. 12) and a response to my dispute from PayPal. In the response to my dispute was a link for the license. I ran the link and it worked without a hitch. So I guess they are responding, just not the way we were use to. It is sad though. They were much better than this in the past.

It's now almost a week since I paid for a Power Tools 2014 license and I still haven't gotten it. This is horrible service. I tried to submit a support ticket, but it didn't go thru because Macecraft's server timed out. I can't believe this mess. I can't even get in touch with these people to demand my $$ back.

To conclude my interest in beginning this topic I just received a PayPal notice stating my claim was resolved and my full purchase price was refunded. Checked my account and the credit was applied.


Oddly the accompanying note from Macecraft said, "The license sent is no longer valid" : I see someone has a sense of humor.

I just got an email with the subject: "We have now canceled your order". Nothing else. Since it made no mention of a refund, I'll be contacting PayPal.

If the order has been canceled, the order has also been refunded to you. If you wish to cancel your order because of this current problem that we are having, please just send me a ticket through the ticket system (we do get all the tickets), and I will cancel the order and refund it as soon as I am able to answer your ticket. As there are many tickets coming in, I am not able to answer to all of them at the same time.
