Is there somewhere in the program to enable retaining of specific cookies?

As far as I know, the answer is NO. No tool to manage cookies.

former versions (a long time ago) had this very useful tool...

they decided to remove it

many people at the time asked it back, but there must be some reason not to get it again

I too would really appreciate...

I agree makes the program rather useless for me. GO cookie manager!

Personally I never use PT to remove cookies any more for this very reason.

CCleaner is pretty good for cookie management.
