Software Uninstaller Won't Load in XP SP3

I uninstalled PT2012 (leaving settings intact) and installed v3.2.0.1338. The system is XP SP3 desktop. I tried the System Tools and Software Uninstaller. The Uninsstaller would not complete its loading. It starts to search for programs showing 3 bars and then dies there. It is NOT frozen because I can Abort the operation, but it just won't complete (after waiting for 5 minutes).

I've been using jv16 for many years now (Platinum VIP User) so I'm familiar with its operation. v3.2.0.1338 just isn't working on my XP SP3 machine.

So you installed jv16PT2014 build 1338 in the former jv16PT2012 directory (reuse the settings?)
