Using CFMC and ONLY fixing the found Temp files with a backup, were should the backup go?


To the location 'Other backups' or 'File backups'?

Yes, that does not look very good!

Seems to be still a bug in the released version. I had already some reg keys backed up under "Other Backups".

This part of the program needs still some refinement I guess.

Issue confirmed and fixed, thank you for reporting! It will be fixed in the next released build.


If you in the Backup Tool use the Right-Click > Explore feature to see the contents of the backup directory you will see that there is an Entries.reg file. The Backup tool shows a backup under the Others tab if there are both Files.dat and Entries.reg. But in this case, the Entries.reg is empty, so there are two minor issues

1) CFMC should not create an empty Entries.reg, and

2) In case of empty Entries.reg but valid Files.dat, the backup should be listed under Files backups, not under Other backups.


Both of these issues (1 & 2) are now fixed.
