Clean and Fix my computer does not finish

I have used JV16 for many years, however the latest v3.2.0.1338 is disappointing. The first option I have tried to 'Clean and Fix my computer' never completes and does nothing.

All items are ticked except for the 5 items beginning 'File reference scan' I have tried this twice and after about 1 hour the item still shows 'Analyzing your computer. This can take a few minutes. Please wait...'

Eventually I abort the operation and no fixes are made.

Can you try the Registry Cleaner feature (under Registry Tools from the main window), does it complete?

No, that does not finish either. It puts ticks beside everything except the various File Reference items, then goes to the screen "Analyzing the found data...' but that hangs with the Overall: green line about 25pct of the way across.

By the way, I also tried an earlier version of JV16 and that failed as well, it used to work fine.
