When I select a Win-7-64bit 'Shortcut', JV16 PT inserts the actual target, sans Command Line Switches I may have entered.
In the bygone days I'd make a 'PIF' and have startup switches. I have had fairly good luck with the 'Shortcut' method though I am admittedly not a Whiz.
Some programs I use require a Command-Line Switch to tell it which "Other" program with which it be working.
