This issue is a 'Not Fixed' from RC1.

At the start of fixing the found 'Invalid file and directory references' items, jv16PT2014_RC2 freezes.

Bugreport.txt is created with the freeze application error.

Repeatable error on both my Laptop without a floppy disk drive and Desktop with a floppy disk drive (A:\).

This issue should now be fixed, thank you for reporting! By "should be fixed" I mean that I have not been able to reproduce the problem and I cannot therefore test the fix either, but I have made changes to the code which I believe fix this issue.

In Startup Manager I checked two entries to be deleted and clicked on delete and it crashed.

When I ran Registry Cleaner when it finished I clicked on fix and it crashed.

Some settings are not saved on the first attempt to change them.

1. Open jv16 Main GUI

2. Select Settings.

3. On the Settings window top menu, select Advanced Interface.

4. Change the state of "Use click and fade effects for the tool icons" and Use fade out effects for the tool windows".

5. Click on OK to save these changes.

6. Click on Settings again.

You will see that the changes made in Step 4 are not saved. If you make the changes again and click on OK, they will be saved.

This is now fixed, thank you for reporting! The problem was caused by delayed save feature of the Settings manager, therefore, when you opened the Settings again, the save to disk was not yet been done. This wasn't a major issue, since simply waiting for a while before re-opening the Settings would avoid the problem from occurring.

In any case, this was a nice catch from you and I'm glad it's now fixed, thanks again! The fix will be included to the next released version.

This CFMC crash occurred on Windows 8 x64 Professional. Unfortunately DEBUG mode was not turned on. It occurred shortly after scanning the registry and when I clicked on DELETE to remove the detections.

I have now made changes in order to fix this, thank you for reporting!

I do hope that this one is fixed in RC3. It rears its head fairly frequently when running RC2 registry cleaner on Windows 7 x86 and Windows 8 x64.

Registry Cleaner hangs on removing large block of invalid keys. This on Windows 7 x86 Professional. Registry cleaner has to be manually aborted. A bug report is also included of a CFMC crash when attempting to delete these keys. Registry Cleaner will crash also. These detected keys are in fact valid detections that should be removed.

When in Software Uninstaller when I scroll download list of programs with the arrow key the screen flashes after each one. Does the same in Startup Manager too. Might as well check the other list in that come up. Looks like it is doing it everywhere.

Confirmed (using the Up/down arrow key) for Software Uninstaller and Decrap my computer.
