RegSupremePro shows an installed app. called 'Phonemonitor', but I can find no way of locating it or getting more info.

This can be alot of things.

I think you are revering to the 'Installed Software' tab in Rs Pro.

It will list everything it can find about any software installed.

Software like Nokia for instains likes to install some thirdparty software and that has a diffrent name then Nokia in the 'Author' colum.

But it is still needed for the Nokia software to run.

Also, sometimes some software use old Registry paths becouse they changed name or something, but to stay compatible with there older version they keep using the old path in the registry. And therefor could be misleading for you if you don't know if it is installed.

You can always try to remove the entrie, Rs Pro will create a backup.

If you then experiance any problems, you can restore the backup.

It turned out not to be Nokia, but part ot the Sony Ericsson suite, so you were close.

The software doesn't take you to the relevant registry entry, but I assume there must be a good reason.

Well, PowerTools only knows the place where that particulary entrie is located. And doesn't know to wich it is all linked to.

I also have some "strange" entries in the registry. And they turnout to be part of software wich only just uses some components in there program wich write to the registry. (Don't ask me why).

So some entries could stay a mistery, becouse the can return everytime your computer starts, and isn't something logical of some part of software installed :).

But im glad you figured it out.
