I have RegSupPro. It worked fine on a clean install of XP (small registry).

After installing Microsoft Visual Studio, RSP has problems checking the

registry. First, it runs very slow, and the processor time is close to

90% most of the time. After finding bad entries, I do not get the usual

message of number of bad entries found. If I leave it at that point, it

keeps on going using between 10 and 90% processor time!! I even

left it running overnight with the same results! I do not know what the

heck it is doing all this time. Other registry fixit programs run well

and fast, so I don't believe it's my registry at fault. I've uninstalled

and reinstalled it many times. Anyone with ideas on this? :(

(OS is XP Pro, SP2, 1GB memory, 100GB WD drive).

I would recommend you to check out the updated version of the product when it's released, most likely in this week.

Other than that, I'm afraid I don't think I can help.
