I found that jv16 PowerTools 2012 2.1.0.1173 makes corrupted backups of multi strings types (REG_MULTI_SZ):
(Windows XP and 7)
Create a new key somewhere in the registry like HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software. Then create a new multi string value (REG_MULTI_SZ), then name it MultiStringBug, then write some data on it like 1234567890987654321.
Open jv16, registry finder, and search for the string MultiStringBug, then delete it and make a backup. Go to the last folder created in the \jv16 PowerTools 2012\Backups and double click on the file entries.reg to restore the deleted value.
Go to the key you created and double click on MultiStringBug and you will see that at the end there is some extra lines with garbage. :(
