jv16 PowerTools 2013 Beta1

I'll reinstall the beta tomorrow and see if I can get it to crash; When and if it does I'll post the requested file.

Edited to add: When the beta is uninstalled - is it supposed to remove bugreport.txt and other such files? If so it might be a great idea to have it not do so.

Version 2.1.0.1235 (Beta 1) on 32-bit Windows 7

Unit Testing Tool:

The tool ran about 6000 seconds, performed yyy tests, and logged more than 1000 errors of various types, mostly the TestRDA type.

Unfortunately, when the test completed, Power Tools crashed with a stack overflow. That exception showed in the bug report window which popped up. Windows terminated the program before I could write down the actual run statistics or copy and paste the test log. No bugreport.txt was created.

Here is the debug log, which seems to have recorded the errors.

Sure it does. Privacy Tools > System Cleaner > Change Settings > There are five options: "Engine Settings, Additional Safety, Options, Ignore Words and then Grouping"

Grouping is the fifth one. And it' very weird but I just saw that again and the error fixed it's self? Base Directory is positioned correctly? Weir stuff anyway. My graphics card is a weird one. Maybe I moved the window and it stayed twisted from the movement. Sorry if this is a false positive. My bad.

P.S I just looked again and there it was. Maybe my graphics card is not displaying the program properly. You should check it out just in case.

Also Power Tools is using my processors time. Like 55, 60 percent when I open the system cleaner window? But I'm not doing any work.

It's actually when I open the change setting window. Processor starts to show very high activity like I was working with a program that uses I lot of CPU. Like a chess engine.

Ah, now I got it. The "Change settings" button actually opens up the File Cleaner window, so you can select how you want it to be run. So the Grouping option is technically in the File Cleaner window, not in the System Cleaner window, that caused my confusion.

I don't think that the issue you are reporting could have anything to do with your graphics card, instead it sounds more like a cosmetic bug in PowerTools. Let me know if you can figure out a way to reproduce the problem and then I should be able to fix it. Now it seems like too tricky to fix (as I cannot reproduce it) and not worth the effort, since it's only cosmetic issue.

jv16PT_debuglog (2).zipI have just completed a unit test; it finished but then there was a stack overflow. Test took a long time, over 8,000 seconds!

today my beta test of your jv16 PowerTools 2013 is starting ;)

I installed the toolpackage now and it works great until the finished installation :)

Nothing hangs up or something else.
