If I read the manual correctly

1. There is no method for a user to add individual sites to the host files. I think that would be helpful.

2. If I read the manual correctly an individual entry cannot be removed. I think that would be helpful as well.

In W7 the HOSTS file is located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\. You can edit this HOSTS file (text image) using 'notepad' and save HOSTS file without a file extension.

There is freeware software that helps you manage your HOSTS file. Google using keyword 'HOSTS editor' (e.g http://www.abelhadigital.com/hostsman).
