Every time I run the newest jv16 PowerTools 2012 in the root of my second partition (D:\jv16PT_temp.tmp) is created and left a zero size file "jv16PT_temp.tmp".

Is it a bug or anything wrong on my side?

It is not a big pain but a bit annoying.

You are not the only one :

The file is also created in my temp dir.

It is not a bug and there's nothing wrong with your PC.

It is not a bug

I am afraid it is.

For temporary files is temp directory not the root directory of another partition.

On my system the file is created properly in the temp dir.

So, I don't know why it is created in the root of another partition on your system.
