RegSupreme Pro and nothing...

Problems...

I have used some freeware and tested shareware, and now i downloaded newest version of RegsupremePro and when i open it, this i see:

I can not clik anywhere, nothing happens, only ctrl+alt+del and so on..

Well, looked...

And tried 1.2.0.38 and still nothing, hangs just when i open it.

No error, anything.. just ctrl+alt+del and so on..

Hi,

OK, I have noticed a difference between the trial version

and the registered version.

At least for me,when I opened the trial version,it always

opened with Installed Programs tab already activated.

(The latest registered version does not have this)

So it started scanning right away.That appeared to freeze

the ability to click on anything else untill the scan was finished.Same thing when you update the program's cache,

as the popup panel advises you to do.

Even so,that should only last for a couple of minutes.

While in the Task Manager's panel,look for any other programs

or processes that are running and are using a lot of CPU or

Memory or both.

If that is OK,check in Event Viewer,both in Applications

and System and see if there are any errors shown.

(Administrative Tools > Event Viewer)

Give it a try and see what you find.

Ok, waited for 4 hours, nothing.... Next ?

And it does ot take any strange amount of cpu/memory usage

(win 2000)

So, you downloaded the free trial version from our website? And installed it to non-existing directory (i.e. not over any old software, like RegCleaner)? What files do you have under the RegSupreme's directory?

By looking at the screenshot I know where the problem is, I only don't know what causes it to occur.

Hi,

I don't want to bud in,JV has far more experience than I do.

But you have to give more info about what's running on your machine.Too bad you didn't give more info about any processes

in Task Manager nor any info about entries in the Event Viewer.

There is something on your computer that is interfering

with RegSupreme Pro.

After the fix this program is running like a "well-oiled

sewingmachine" on my box (WinXP)

What you can try if you already didn't is this.

- Clear your browsers cache.

- ReDownload RSP.

- Uninstall RSP from your computer and manualy remove the installed folder if it is still there.

- Install RSP.

- Try it again.

I don't have any problems what so ever. I can just press the 'OK' button and it will scan my hdd's, the time it will take depends upon how much file you have on or system.

Also, mabye an odd thing (becouse i thought this whas fixed already), do you have an external hdd or some other external storage device.

If so, try to disconnect it, and run RSP again, but as far as i know this problem whas fixed already.
