using Mass rename :

inserting a "space" between boxes doesn't work anymore (it used to with older versions)

What do you mean exactly? Can you give me steps to reproduce the problem?

I've got many music files.

I want to sort them by style.

I did a mass rename, adding the music style at the beginning

Example :

CLASSICMETALBlack Sabbath Paranoïd SongTitle

I want to add a space between "CLASSICMETAL" and the remainder

So I'm adding a space in "Add fixed text". That gives me a " " " box I move between "CLASSICMETAL and the remainder, but no space appears when renaming

I've got to mention too, that moving blocks sometimes does nothing, simply no move at all.

still doesn't work with 1139...

moving boxes sometimes work, sometimes doesn't,

simulation is always giving the same result, even if you (at least) can move a box...

did mass rename code change since v. 2011 ??

an answer would be appreciated...

I'm afraid adding such feature is impossible without modifying the English.lng and thus forcing all translators to update their translations. Changes like these are made only in development of a new version (like 2013), not right now.

But I like this idea, could you create a topic in the Feature Requests section of the forum for this?

there's a misunderstanding : I'm not asking for a new feature, I just want the tool to work fine, like it used to do before.

I repeat : when you move boxes, as explained in the Help PDF, no changes are made, neither in "simulate" and, of course, in the final result...

PS in older versions, when you add just a single "space" in "add fixed text", it used to had a space, as space is recognized as a letter...
