Steps to reproduction:

1. Run PowerTools

2. Run File Cleaner (click on the button Start and then click on the button Close)

3. Scroll down (using mouse)

Edit: This occurs probably only on OS Vista.

Are you using Vista?

I cannot reproduce this 'screen corruption' issue in neither XP-SP3 nor W7-SP1 x86.

Yes. I using Vista Home Premium SP2 32b. The issue is reproducible on my system (Aero and UAC is turned). Advanced mode is turned in PowerTools (otherwise default settings).

This is just a suggestion; why not move MUIcache (see attached picture) entries to Clean & Fix instead of the Registry Cleaner? The Windows registry records these all the time and I have never experienced an unpleasant consequence from removing them.

They seem to be akin to noise building up in the registry. Am I wrong?

Why does Beta 2 show my PC Health at 65% and Registry Health as 12% when version 2.0.0.1053 shows both at 100%?

Your PC Health and Registry Health values are set to 100% after a 'Clean and Fix my Computer'(CFMC) scan with all found errors fixed or deleted!

If, after a CFMC scan, the found errors are not fixed the PC Health and Registry Health values decreases. This is by design.

This may be, but it doesn't explain the differnce. Also the Beta 2 registry scan reports 1399 errors for the normal setting while version 2011 only reports 113 with the most agressive setting. It seems to me there may be some issues here.

Sorry, but that kind of informtion (report) is not necessary. When the installation of the program is OK, you don't have to report it here, unless the installation with a previous beta was buggy. Same thing for other parts of the program. If everything is OK, no report necessary unless there was a bug in the previous beta. The main purpose of these beta's is to report bugs and/or report bugs are fixed.

Feedback for program improvement.

In Software Uninstaller, when you right-click on an entry and choose 'Find more information online', there is a Wiki search based on the 'Author' field.

This is particularly useless if the author is .

An improvement would be for a search on the 'Software' field.

When I do a Google search on the contents of the 'Software' field I get more useful search choices, especially if I add my operating system to the search paramaters.

eg : for the entry in 'Installed software without uninstall info' - Software = WIC, Author = Unknown, I get useful results when I Google " WIC Win7x64 ". This throws up results that seem relevant, (Windows Imaging Component) rather than the returned search on 'Unknown'.

1.The warning message is 'by design'.

2.I fail to see why you say that the History Cleaner in beta 2 is 'not working'.
