After using "clean and fix my computer" from jv16pt2011, I see a list of history data, temp files and empty folders to delete.

I don't know what to do with the list of empty folders. For example, one is related with Windows (microsoft\credentials\, one with Eset (my antivirus), one with Guitar Pro 6 (....\Guitar Pro 6\my presets\

Can they really be deleted without harming the system?

1.Use the 'Normal System scan' in CFMC

2.Alway's do a delete with a backup, just to be sure.

Up till today I have had no problems with the deletion of this mentioned list of "history data, temp files and empty folders".

Empty folders have been deleted with a backup of the operation. But I'm unable to find that backup to look inside. How do you do that?

Backups made by CFMC are actually two parts:

1.Registry cleaning backup under "Registry backup".

2.File cleaning backup under "File Backup".

These two backups have identical names/id's.

Each backup can be fully restored and if you mouse right click on the listed backup you get a number of other options, like 'custom restore' and 'list files'......

See the handbook.

Not all empty folders are safe to delete. So indeed, always let the program make a backup.
