I did the test with jv16 PowerTools 2011.
Do not wait to click the OK button and then close or minimize the Software Uninstaller window because behind this window there's a dialog window "Are you sure you want to completely remove and all of its components?". Then choose Yes or No.
That way it worked for me.
Notice that the Software Uninstaller has been improved in jv16 PowerTools 2012 and loading the software list gets much faster than in PT2011. However you must proceed here also the same way as I explained above.
