Yes, you can install jv16PT on an USB stick/flash drive/hard drive and run it off that device.
But during installation, jv16PT builds its cache and that cache contend represents the system jv16PT was installed on.
If you than plug the USB device into another PC you must first flush/rebuild the jv16PT cache, using 'Tools' -> 'Program maintenance' -> 'Flush cache', before functionally running jv16PT on that other PC.
