Continuos Crash in Win XP Pro Sp3

It's, the installer, has a continuous crash under Windows XP Pro SP3. don´t work in safe mode, or with my panda antivirus turned off. Any tip? :?

Leonardo, thanks for your replay. i´m trying to use JV16 2011 version: 2.0.0.1009 downloaded from main web page. follow the answers:

1.Does the installer crash, during installation of jv16PT and is there an installer error message? yes. it´s very quick! initialy show a brief windows of the installer then crash without any explanation.

2.Does jv16PT itself crash, in the last stage of the installation process? Is there an application error? the crash it´s just after the first double click.

3.Or is the crash XP-SP3 related? No. just the JV16PT installer

and i tried install the SW of many ways:

1- first in safe mode

2- if my panda 2011 turned off

3 - in safe mode and turned off the antivirus

and always the same....a crash after the double click into the installer

FYI i have PowerTools lite running without any incident

FYI i have PowerTools lite running without any incident

1. During beta testing there were one or two issues with the jv16PT installer all related to either AntiVirus and/or Firewall software.

2. Are you installing v2.0.0.1009 OVER an existing 2010 or 2009 version? jv16PT v2.0.0.1009 requires a clean install or a full uninstall of the previous version.

1. Is your AV and Firewall SW (panda 2011) at the latest level? Google search for "Panda 2011 hotfix".

2. Put the program jv16PT.exe in the 'Ignore list(s)' of your AntiVirus and Firewall software.

3. Try a fresh/new jv16PT-2011 download from the Macecraft webpages, there were a few 'damage during download' issues.
