I have used Jv16 for many years and still have a problem with text being cut off at the bottom of characters. Anyone else have a similar issue. also some screens have very small text, like the home screen at top..File Language Tools Help.

Have tried different settings for text / font within JV16 with no same results. Note using Win 7 SP1 no problems with any other software at all !

I know this issue has been reported before. You probably enlarged the text size in W7.

However jv16PT has 'limited' space for lager text in its GUI windows. In W7 x86 I can only enlarge the text with 5-6% before text lines are cut off!

I had the screen resolution set 150 % need it my eyes are bad. I did try a lower setting and that made a difference. I will stay with the 150% setting since i am familiar with with JV16.

Thanks for your help....

I got around the problem by changing the font to "Times New Roman" and changed the size to 7.

I had the same problem. This is common on a lot of software installed on machines that have modified the DPI (dots per inch) to make text larger. I have Windows 7 as well and increased my test size from the default 96 DPI to 120 (25%). To solve the problem, I changed my screen resolution from its native 1920 x 1080 to 1600 x 900, and changed by DPI setting back to the default setting.
