jv16 2011 v2.0.0.1009 too slow

jv16 2011 v2.0.0.1009 is just too dammed slow on my Win 7 x64 running on an AMD 955 (quad core at 3.2Gh) with 8 GB RAM. The running part (the Registry Cleaner) is still Ok. when clicking the Fix button, after running for more than 7 min, the progress bar still hardly shows any progress at all (still at the 10% mark, roughly).

This is maddening.

I'm having the same issue. Cleaning the registry never took this long before. Will this be corrected in the next version? Is there some way to improve the speed now??

1. Are you also using W7 64bit?

2. The only performance thing I can think of is flush + rebuild the jv16PT cache, using 'Tools' -> 'Program maintenance' -> 'Flush cache'. But I am not sure if this has effect on the Registry Cleaner 'FIX' part.

3. I am using XP-SP3 and W7 x86. Here too the 'FIX' process takes a bit longer compared to jv16PT2010, but not annoying longer!

I have the same problem on 2.0.0.1009, that shows up even if I only select Broken Shortcuts to be fixed. It runs at 8 fixes per minute.

Windows 7 pro, fully up-to-date. Computer has Core 2 Duo @ 3.0GHz, 4 GB, 2 x 320 GB, rates 5.7 on WIndows Experience Index test.

I am having the same issue with Windows 7 32 bit.

No problems here on Windows 7 x64.

Build 1009 is just as fast as previous builds after clicking the fix button.

I have the problem on Win 7 pro 32-bit, fully up-to-date as of last Tuesday, IE9, using Microsoft Security Essentials for anti-virus and Windows built-in firewall.
